Trevithick's Steam Locomotive

trevithick's Steam Locomotive

In 1804 Englishman Richard Trevithick built a steam driven vehicle
that ran on tracks. It was slow and heavy but demonstated the potential
of the steam locomotive. It was designed to haul iron from the ironworks
at Penydarren, England to the Merthyr-Cardiff Canal.
