1920 Maxwell
Town Car
The Maxwell was born when Benjamin Briscoe got together with Jonathan Maxwell in 1903. Maxwell was a former Oldsmobile engineer. Together they began producing the new car. By 1926 the car was renamed Chrysler. Comedian Jack Benny was known for being unusually frugal. For years he refused to sell his Maxwell. It really was an excellent machine.
