The Gospel

The term gospel means good news - the good news is really great news! However, often people do not appreciate the good news or realize how great it is because they have never understood the bad news. We are so busy living our daily routine, we just do not stop to ask the really important questions like - Who am I? Why am I here? Where am I going?

We are God's creation. He created us that we might fellowship with him. He gave us a free will and as a result there is a problem - our sin. It separates us from God. If we die in our sin, we will be eternally separated from God! That's the bad news.

However, the good news is God provided a way for us to be with Him - forever! That good news is recorded for us in the Bible. The Bible is God's message to mankind. It is a collection of books written by people who were inspired by the Spirit of God.

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son,that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life."
This verse is found in the book of John chapter 3 and verse 16.
