The 1948 Tucker has an interesting history. It was the brainchild of Preston Tucker. It had many safety features. It's design was well ahead of it's time, but, due to political pressure only 51 were ever built. At last count about 47 are still around. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner of the number 5 Tucker - His car is green and was in the movie: Tucker - a man and his dream. A great flick!
This Tucker is "Waltz" blue. What a beautiful machine. The engine is in the back and the trunk space up front!
